Ireland's National SDG Implementation Plan Consultation


The Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment has launched the Public Consultation on the development of Ireland's third Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) National Implementation Plan.

The aim of this consultation is to gather stakeholder feedback on the preparation of Ireland's Third SDGs National Implementation Plan, which sets out the overarching national governance, coordination and monitoring framework for the SDGs in Ireland.

The detailed policy approaches to progress individual SDGs and targets are addressed in relevant national policies set out in the SDG Policy Map.

How to make a submission

Anyone wishing to submit observations can do so by email or post.

The closing date for submissions is 5.30pm on Friday, 16 January 2026.

Late submissions will not be considered 

All valid submissions received will be published on the Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment website.
