Research and Policy Interface Thematic Working Group
This thematic group undertakes research relevant to sustainable development, translating the research results into policy insights and then engaging with the policy systems to not only improve the evidence base for policy, but also to actively inform, underpin, co-produce and implement sustainable development policy.
The current focus of the group is on sharing experiences, successes and challenges and case studies of SDG related policies that have been informed and underpinned by research from SDSN members. This group also aspires to build the capacity of researchers and policy practitioners in order to accelerate the transfer of scientific evidence into policy.
This group is Chaired by Prof. Brian Ó Gallachóir, Associate Vice-President of Sustainability at University College Cork
